i wanted to give a shout-out to two independent businesses selling plus size junk ! i know we don’t have a ton of options, but i generally feel better paying $$$ for a dress from an independent (and woman-owned !) businesses than giving $$$ to Big Fat.

When I dyed my hair bright red, I joked about the “Little Mermaid realness” I was serving. After a year hiatus from performing, a producer asked me to revive my burlesque act. I had no idea what I wanted to do, but I joked about doing a Little Mermaid bit and it killed. So, I got to work on the costuming and started impersonating Ariel.
