DIY Neon Cord Rhinestone Brooch Belt. This is using the same materials as in the statement necklace I posted earlier today from Trinkets in Bloom here. Easy tutorial from Trinkets in Bloom here. *The closure on this belt is really clever - as it was on the necklace.
I made these earrings myself in an hour and a half. I used an Arizona Iced Tea can, french loops, and some electrical wire.
Truebluemeandyou: These earrings are by far the prettiest recycled can jewelry I’ve seen. So when I see posts about people wanting to use recycled items for crafts - this is a good one!
DIY Ruffle and Ribbon Heels Tutorial. I posted a roundup of ribbon and bow tutorials (lots with shoes) here. Tutorial from Pop Champagne here.
DIY Knockoff Miu Miu Metallic Leather and Glitter Cherry Sandals. Photo Left: $595 Miu Miu Cherry Sandals here, Photo Right: DIY by Desde Tenerife Con Amor. Tutorial by Desde Tenerife Con Amor here.
DIY Paper Hermes Jige Clutch. If you are having problems downloading these, as I am, you can go to www.facebook.com/hermes/photos and download all six PDFs. Also, go to Small Good Things post on how to wax paper to make these clutches stronger and prettier here.
Okay, so I’m getting rid of everything my ex bought for me or that reminds me of him. Some of it still has the tags on it, and a lot of it I only wore once or twice. Sizes XL-3X, 18-20. Shoes size 9.5-10.
If you want it, come get it. I’ll take offers if you don’t like my pricing.
I just want this shit gone.

Outfit of the Day: My Anniversary Dress
So… I’ve gained some weight. I’ve been gaining weight for awhile, but I suddenly had one of those weeks where I realized a lot of my clothes don’t fit me anymore. I had a pretty decent meltdown in my closet. It wasn’t the best feeling. Not so much because I am now fatter, but because I’m finding a lot of my favorite clothing items snug. I love my clothes! We have long, loving relationships. I’m finding new ways to wear older items, which I guess is a natural part of style as it changes anyways. But the day of my three year anniversary with my fiance, I really wanted to feel beautiful and nothing looked the way I wanted it to. Lucky for me… I own a plus size clothing store. I went to where I keep all my merchandise and put this little purple number right on. It was so perfect! I love the pleats, the empire waist, the flirty ruffles at the neckline. It’s also this soft, silky material. I paired it with black flats, a black belt and a chunky gold necklace. I felt so so pretty! My fiance took me out to one of the most amazing dinner and drinks I’ve ever had. He got me a ton of Betsey Johnson jewelry (including one with a mermaid on it!) I bought him a beer kit, and we celebrated all weekend just enjoying each other’s company. It was a perfect weekend. Specially as a last weekend of break before school starts tomorrow!
