I thought I’d send in a picture of me in my wedding dress since everyone else is doing it!
I got my dress at Bridal Exclusives in Salem, Oregon. I love it so much. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my whole life! :)

Also a plus bride! September 4, 2010.
My dress was by Alfred Angelo and they make really gorgeous plus gowns and bridesmaids dresses (my ladies were in AA as well) with pretty much endless color options. Really affordable - I only paid around 600$ for mine and my ladies paid under 200$ for theirs.

Thought I’d join in with the plus-size bride submissions.
I think on a wedding day more than anything the pressure to look perfect and ‘lose that extra weight’ is massive… so I think its a very brave step for those of us who choose to go against the norm. From the very beginning I knew I wasn’t going to engage in dangerous crash dieting, I’ve been fat all my life so why would I change? My husband asked me to be his bride just as I am, not on the condition that I lose weight. So it always upsets me when bride’s think they have to lose weight to look ‘perfect’. We’re beautiful just the way we are, and I have to say that on my wedding day I truly did feel perfect, I had the privilege of wearing a one-of-a-kind hand made dress as my auntie is a seamstress and created it to fit my body perfectly.

Since a few of our followers have submitted photos of themselves in their wedding dresses, I figured I would show you mine (even though I’m now divorced)!
That’s my mom putting my veil on me. This was April 2005.
