Hi, I’m Jess and I finally worked up the courage to submit something. Its prom season and even though I’m not going I thought I’d show off my prom dress from two years ago.

I fell in love with this dress when I walked by it in the mall and I was determined to rock it at my senior prom. I am so glad I didn’t listen to my mom when she said it wasn’t a dress for someone “like me” because not only did everyone love my dress, I finally felt fierce and fabulous in my own skin. I do wish I had more chest support, this was before we all decided I should wear the straps that came with it. But I totally suggest to all my fellow plus size sisters that you pick a dress because you feel fabulous in it and love it, not just because it fits. Take a chance and be fearless when it comes to prom, I wasn’t the prom queen but I totally stole the show anyways.
